As the show Maharakshak is a Trilogy.The second series of the show is titled as Devi.Nilanjana Purkayasstha,the show creator is going to work with Esselvision Productions for Devi.Nilanjana Purkayasstha earlier produced the show Chandragupta Maurya which aired on NDTV Imagine.

Shakti Mohan as Devi
Inderneil Sengupta as Negative Lead Role.
Kamalika Guha Thakurta as Guardian of Female Lead.
Shatki Mohan was last seen in Channel [V] Dil Dosti Dance and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.She got fame from the Dance show,Dance India Dance which aired on Zee Tv.If all goes well then we can Shakti playing the role as Devi in this second series.
Inderneil Sengupta who was last seen in Life Ok's Tumhari Pakhi in cameo role will be seen playing the negative lead role in the show.Inderneil became popular with the show Pyaar Ke Do Naam : Ek Raadha Ek Shyam.
The story of Devi is based on a female super hero who will fight against evil.The new series will go on air in the month of March.The show timings,promo date and the other cast details are yet to be confirmed.
