Drashti Dhami's much awaited show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani has finally got its launch date and show timings.The show will soon replace the on-going historical show Jodha Akbar.The show will go on air from 27th July 2015 at 8:00pm on Zee Tv.Siddhanth Karnick will pair opposite Drashti in the show.The show is produced by Sujoy Wadhwa & Nilanjana under the production banner Sphere Origins.
Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani is the story about a Royal Family who lives in Ammerkot.It is a love story of a rich man and a common girl.Gayatri (Drashti) is a Manglik,who marries Rana Indravadhan Singh.Gayatri is the daughter of states biggest moneylender,Gopal Seth.How she becomes the queen and wins Rana's heart and people of Ammerkot forms the rest of the story.This is a love story which is set up of 1940's era.
